Prices are kept very low to encourage sales and to demonstrate
that we are a music centre, not a profit centre. We recognise, too,
that an MP3 version of a recording is not as valuable as a full-range
CD recording, which contains much more digital information, and is truly
Hi-Fi.
The proceeds from sales are transfered to the AustroMechana, Austria's
society for mechanical rights. From there 60% go to the composer, and
40% to the publisher/producer. If the aAmplify is the producer we donate
our sum to charities for musicians who are suffering from hearing loss
and to European charities for the deaf.
