Iby-Jolande Varga who is the video and animation specialist on the aAmplify team, has contributed these two sound sculptures to the website. They are on loan from her own on-line exhibition of work created in Flash. (A link to Iby´s website can be found on aAmplify people). The two interactive sculptures respond in real time to the mouse movements of the viewer/listener. aAmplify has invited composers to contribute sounds to these two sculptures, so that each version of the same Flash sculpture listed below has sounds created by a particular composer. We find it interesting to hear how different composers have reacted differently to these virtual worlds and how they approach the question of sound samples. |
